Massage Therapy with Jo-Ann McGee

Jo-Ann McGee has been a registered nurse for the past 39 years and a licensed Massage Therapist for the past 9 years. She started her career in the Army Nurse Corps for 4 years and then worked her way up to Nursing Administrator roles in civilian life. As an administrator she found she was really missing the “Hands On” caregiver role. This is what brought her to the decision to do Massage Therapy!

She was working in her own practice located in a doctor’s office prior to COVID shut down. She is looking forward to resuming a regular massage schedule and to invite back her previous clients and welcome new ones.

Her preference is traditional Swedish Massage for relaxation and wellness purposes but can also do focused deep tissue as needed.

She will be available for massage on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s and can be reached by calling 401-767-6889.

$40 for a 30-minute massage
$80 for a 60-minute massage

Cash or checks only. No credit cards.

Reflexology with Linda Menard

Linda is a National Board Certified Reflexologist, NBCR, Reiki Master/Teacher, Theta Practitioner, spiritual healer, studied Shamanism and also works with YL essential Oils.

She studied reflexology through The Center for Universal Reflexology and has taken advanced classes with Bill Flocco, who teaches integrative reflexology; working with the hands, feet, and ears.

Linda belongs to the Reflexology Association of Rhode Island (RARI), as well as the Reflexology Association of America (RAA), and can also be found on the American Reflexology Certification Board page (ARCB).

She continues to take classes to enrich her knowledge of reflexology and keep updated with anything new being presented, incorporating her other modalities in a session to bring peace and relaxation to the body mind and spirit.

A mother of three very active girls, Linda took notice of how relaxed and at peace her children seemed whenever she massaged their feet. Their encouragement and constant requests for this made her wonder if there was more to what she was doing than she initially realized. She began reading and researching and found out that the feet are a road map of the body, and by touching different areas of the feet you were affecting the whole body. When her daughters got older she found a local Reflexologist that was certified to teach reflexology and signed up.

After being certified as a reflexologist she started taking advanced classes and studied for her National Certification, and became a National Board Certified Reflexologist.
