Color Your Way to Your Inner Child

With Kari Kline

Open up your inner child and create something lovely in the process. In this introductory workshop, you will learn to unleash your inner creativity. Your canvas will be a 10” round piece of silk that can be later used as a lovely suncatcher. The color therapy class will begin with a simple meditation. You will have a choice to either paint free style or use a product called resist to outline simple shapes. Designs can be easily traced onto the silk. The vibrant French dyes will begin to work their special magic as you begin to experience the feeling you had as a little child coloring freely and joyfully. Art can be therapeutic and as your focus becomes fixed on the beautiful silk before you, tensions will melt away. Painting to the accompaniment of an eclectic brand of tunes, you will begin to feel relaxed and refreshed. Plus, after the class, you will have something beautiful to take home. Every time you pause to look at your unique suncatcher, it will continue to refresh your soul and speak to your heart.

Energy Kinesiology: A conversation with your body

With Sue Corrigan, ScD., RMT, SK, ND

Energy Kinesiology can be defined as “the study and application of the movement of energy within living systems.”

In today’s world of stress, multitasking and chaos, we often get distracted and get caught up in it in such a way that causes us discomfort and illness. We tend to forget the “wisdom” our bodies have if we would only listen.

Energy Kinesiology can access that “wisdom” and help transform physical symptoms, emotions and belief systems, learning and performance systems to a place of balance.

When healing needs to take place, accessing the body’s intelligence via muscle indicators is a natural and noninvasive method of providing the body with what it needs. This two-session class will show you how kinesiology works as a nice partner to other modalities.

Dream Workshop

With Kari Kline

The mental logistics that our minds go through at night have been scanned and analyzed and put under the microscope for years. Ever since Sigmund Freud theorized that dreams reflected unconscious wishes and urges, dreams have been scrutinized. Freud’s pupil, Swiss psychiatrist, Carl Jung, took up the theme, interpreting dreams in a different way, suggesting that images that are part of the collective unconscious of humanity, appear in our dreams. More current scientific experimentation shows us that sleep is required for the rejuvenation of the body, and that dreams possibly pay a part.

Working with dreams on a regular basis can show the way to the workings of your rich, inner life. Dreams can help solve problems and work through blockages if you’ll take the time to record and listen to them.

Come and learn more about yourself. Please bring a dream~!
